Method
App analytics is not the briefing. The briefing is the writing.
Executive reporting for app growth is a literary problem disguised as a metrics problem. Cloudagentgrid’s method treats dashboards as source material, not as the deliverable.
Four moves we repeat until they are dull
Dull is the point. A board pack that depends on charisma fails the week the growth lead is on leave. The method is four moves, practised in every program, including the flagship.
-
Name a falsifiable claim
Not a theme (“engagement is healthy”) and not a gallery. A sentence that could be wrong. Example: “Repeat grocery buyers in Greater Bangkok are not covering the paid cost of the last two campaigns.”
-
Choose evidence that earns the claim
Usually three charts: a trend, a cut, a leading indicator. If a fourth chart does not change the decision this month, it stays in the warehouse. App analytics tools are excellent at producing the fourth chart. We are not.
-
Write the caveat in public
Attribution gaps, seasonality around Songkran, a tracking change, a sample that is too thin. Hiding these does not protect you. Naming them early is how executives learn to trust the rest of the page.
-
Install a ritual, not a hero
The Monday KPI Circle is forty minutes: owners, exceptions, one ask. It is deliberately shorter than a “business review.” When travel or a public holiday hits, the sheet still circulates. The ritual is the product.
What this is not
It is not a BI implementation. It is not a vendor recertification. It is not a promise that your board will become kinder. Some committees stay hungry for vanity. The method still gives you a page you can stand behind.
Where to enter
If you already brief leadership and the pack keeps swelling, start with Executive Dashboard Fluency. If you only need a written critique of one artefact, Signal Desk is enough. If the audience is a formal board, read Board Atelier.
